There are very few superlatives that haven’t already been uttered about this tripod, but I just had to add my own.
This is a high quality, extremely versatile and remarkably lightweight tripod.
I greased up the threads on the locks to my standard and I have to say that the feeling of quality and precision when unlocking/locking the tripod is something I haven’t experienced before. I have owned several quality makes in the past, including the often revered Gitzo, but this one feels very slick and the tubes ooze quality.
I cannot see me ever swapping this tripod out, unless it fails, but I cannot see that happening at all.
The only negative I have about purchasing this tripod, is that it caused me to further purchase two heads and another lighter weight tripod. :-)
All of it is top notch and buying Leofoto gear is actually quite addictive.
So addictive, that I have even re-considered whether I am in the right business and that I ought to re-sell Leofoto tripods at the expos I do in the UK. That way I could fill rooms with tripods/headsand then maybe satisfy my love of all things gear. :-)
