Minimal use so far, but this tripod appears to be very solid, steady, and capable of performing like more expensive competitors. It's slightly taller than ideal for me when closed for traveling, but it works. Also, a slightly wider leg angle would make it even more steady in windy conditions (I'd happily sacrifice an inch or two of height for this). All that said, I did a ton of research on options and this tripod's specs and testing/reviews were the best I could find for my needs. Having had some time to play with it in person, it does not disappoint.
Lightweight, strong, sturdy with an excellent ball head. Easy to carry and use.
rock solid for its size and my needs. Well made. I'd love the exact same model and specs with an integrated rather than add-on center column. The process : order-payment-delivery is smooth as a dream, even for international remote locations.

Tripod built quality looks great, despite the expected feeling of light weight.
The tripod comes with a bag full of accessories (spikes, optional center column...) which is nice.
Although I was aware of the folded length, I was actually very impressed by how small the tripod waswhen folded in real life.
This is exactly the travel tripod I was hoping for to take into the woods on the side of my camera bag for mushroom and other smallish subjects in nature photography, much of which needs to be shot at close to ground level. For me, the lack of an integrated center column was the key selling point. I'm happy to report that the legs and add-on center column feel utterly stable at full extension. Twist locks are smooth and precise, also apparently easy to clean with minimal fuss. The 28 mm outer tripod tubes are considerably thicker than those on the tripod this replaces, but the absence of the center tube means that the collapsed diameter of the leg set is almost as slender. I couldn't be happier with this purchase!
